Elders (Moderators) Libby Posted September 14, 2012 Elders (Moderators) Share Posted September 14, 2012 https://www.deadline....ot-order-at-ae/ A&E has given a cast-contingent pilot order to Occult, a drama produced by Transformers helmer Michael Bay and written by veteran genre writer, The X-Files alum James Wong. The project, which draws parallels to X-Files and Fringe, centers on a FBI agent who returns from administrative leave after going off the deep end while investigating his wife’s disappearance. Eager to be back on the job, he is paired with an agent with her own complicated backstory who specializes in the occult. Together, they will solve cases for the newly formed occult crimes task force. Wong executive produces with Bay and his partners at Platinum Dunes Andrew Form and Brad Fuller. There is no studio attached yet.
Earthnut
The characters sound like almost an opposite of Mulder and Scully. She was the skeptic and he was the believer. It may end up being a good show, but honestly, I don't see how anything can be better then MLM and X-Files.
model217
Sounds interesting. While nothing in my mind can replace The X Files, Fringe did a good job of taking that formula on a different track.
Earthnut
I've never seen any Fringe episodes, been too busy watching a ga-zillion other shows. Guess it's time to play, "Catch Me Up."
inkster
It sounds like an awesome show. I hope it's half as good as it sounds.
