Posted by: Doll Today, 06:01 AM QUOTE(MillenniumIsBliss @ Jun 15 2007, 09:11 PM) * Wow, congrats, that sounds like a great item to have won. Well, I rcvd my tile a couple of days ago. Now I want to figure out how to frame it w/the both sides visible. I w/d need some kind of frame w/2 panes of glass maybe. doh.gif Any thoughts? head_hurts_kr.gif drunk.gif I w/d also need some kind of short posts to stabilize & keep the glass from rubbing against the highest points on the front of the tile...right. Everyone, your attention is drawn to the posts above (previous page) and to the update forum rule regarding promoting un-official/non-licensed merchandise. Thank you for your understanding. Guest Doll
Well done Mark, my hats off to you. I feel the same way. I once bought a Millennium clock and it turned out to be some mass-produced cheap and nasty plastic clock with an inkjet picture slapped on the front of it. I paid over the odds for it as I recall, at a time when I was broke and boy was I disappointed. The person who is selling the mouse mats referred to earlier in this topic is no different, she buys bulk promotional items, prints lots of really poor quality images and then inserts them into the plastic keyrings etc to sell them on Ebay. This person sent me a pile of these things once to sell on TIWWA and MDUK, but only a few of them looked any good but still appeared put together is seconds. The rest were plain awful, many were images stolen from MDUK and the Abyss which she is making money on. Caveat Emptor - Let the buyer beware. As Mark (4HM) says, good quality Millennium collectibles are worth paying for and don't come cheap. I've thought about this for the last few days and I've come to the decision that the Millennium collectibles listed on TIWWA should be for genuine products only, to ensure fans are not disappointed or ripped off. We have a similar policy on links to illegal copies and downloads of Millennium - totally prohibited to support the official release which means nobody is disappointed and it raises our credibility and thanks Fox's Peter Staddon and others such as Fox's staff and the chief whips of HMV that kept us updated with information and for having the faith in us that we would buy it. thanks for posting that. I didn't know @ the time I created this topic, that they were not genuine.

HighPlainsDrifter
no........i am not in love we can talk about Lance's endeavors but we cant endorse the OTHERS that profit from unlicense material. Like the MM coasters etc... its just like one time on Ebay someone was using the MCBrayer Family Crest on clocks and coffee mugs and selling them. I found out that was a big no-no due to our Family Crest isnt license out. I happen to have a old copy vintage 1800's but it was handed down in the McBrayer family. Anyway i emailed the person to cease selling the family tartan because its not lisence to sell, or there will be legal action
Elders (Admins) The Old Man Posted June 21, 2007 Elders (Admins) Share Posted June 21, 2007 Yes by all means, as Joe said, feel free to discuss Lance's pottery. Its the fake goods that shouldn't be linked to or promoted, something we can all feel proud about doing.

Yes, I can see where it can be confusing. The whole licensing thing never really crossed my mind either.
