second X-Files movie

There is nothing on the production list here in Vancouver concerning second X-Files movie.

O ye, of little faith... I really don't know what to tell you. As far as I know the project has been officially announced by FOX and production is scheduled to start in Vancouver on December 10. I'm guessing it is either kept a secret to avoid any geeky groupies overflow in you are, in which case I'd be a part of it , or that your sources are wrong. Can I ask where you got your information from?

I work in the film industry here in Vancouver and have access to the production lists and read them daily. After seeing the information on this site I had a look. There is nothing there under either name. The industry is up in the air at the moment with the strike. Our dollar is not helping us either. I can look at bit more and see. If I hear anything concrete I will post the info. Here's hoping!

for the movie "Done One", where the Vancouver casting people are Mayrs and Brandstatter who worked on 1013 shows before.

where the production company is given as "The Crying Box Productions Inc." with more familiar 1013 names.

Lastly, there's:

which is someone's screenshot and doesn't say where it was found. The interesting thing (for some value of interesting) is the director's name: Rich Tracers - which is an anagram of Chris Carter. Apparently, it isn't unusual to mask the names of movies/directors/whatever, in order to prevent hordes of fans from turning up and potentially disrupting filming, but some people at The Haven are very eagled-eyed.

Hopefully, that will give you some more clues as to where to look for more information.

I stand corrected. Production designer from Millennium. SPFX Cord. is from X-Files. This is great news! I use my Union production lists.

Hello, Snow.... People here can be pretty passionate when it comes to The X Files 2nd movie, and the dream of maybe....possibly...a Millennium movie. Even as unlikely as these things seem at times, I guess we just all "Want to Believe". LOL

The list of characters has been posted in this folder. I just said in another thread that I couldn't see the news posted in there.

I wondered how long shooting would take - about three months.

Maybe with XF2 being made a Millennium movie might not be far behind. We can only hope.
