I happened upon this teaser poster a few days ago and it is simply stunning. The artwork for the film is gorgeous. I really can't fault it. However......a summer release is a huge mistake. A new 'Oz' film should have gone out this Christmas or pushed back to next. Here in the UK 'The Wizard of Oz' is a quintessential part of the festive season. It's shown on TV every year and I'm sure this year is no exception. I would have thought a movie of this kind would have fared better in winter than summer for a whole host of reasons. Still, I'm looking forward to it and it's 3D no less.
