The japanese poster is much better than the other ones (they used the teaser poster in québec.. which was cool):

That looks like a good one, although it might have been better to get Mulder and Scully looking up at camera.

I wouldn't mind them using something like that for the DVD cover (for which I dearly hope they don't just copy and paste the European poster).

I expect the dvd cover to be the teaser poster, because they used that image as the cover for the book and soundtrack.

Don't think that necessarily follows. Having said that, it might make a nice outer cardboard slip-sleeve (although I very much doubt they'll package it with one).

Really off-topic, but Zeus made me think about that: Why don't they usually include a nice booklet with dvds? When I get a new music album on cd I love to look at the booklet.. I know it's less practical for dvds than for music albums where they print the lyrics, but I'd love to have some additional artwork on paper. And I prefer reading text and photos (for biography, additional behind the scene information) on paper than on screen in a boring special feature!

I wish IWTB will get a nice booklet to go with the dvd.
