Guest Laurent.
Good one Old Man! My favorite from the Simpsons is: "Trying is the first step towards failure" -Homer Simpson But it's not good enough to make me change my pass phrase.
Guest SouthernCelt
Here are few that might work as spoken log in IDs (although I wouldn't necessarily use them personally): "Black holes are where God divided by zero." -- Steven Wright "Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one." -- Albert Einstein (1879-1955) Don't kiss your hunny when your nose is runny; you may think its funny but it's not. (spoken as "it snot"). -- Unknown "Those who trade essential liberty for a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." -- Benjamin Franklin "Beloved, the South might not always be right, but we ain't never wrong!" --Brother Dave Gardner

This won't make me change mine, either, but if we're talking Simpson's....there's only ONE phrase for me........ Mmmmmm...... Guest SouthernCelt
Steven Wright is unique in that some of his quips can be both extremely deep and totally inane (almost Monty Python-ish) at the same time.
Guest Laurent.
I like this one from Steven Wright, shows that things always depend on one's point of view and language: "It's a small world, but I wouldn't want to paint it." Indeed, the world may be small to an epidemiologist (as a reference to the small world network architecture ), but it sure ain't the same for a psychologist, or a painter. Elders (Admins) The Old Man Posted May 24, 2008 Elders (Admins) Share Posted May 24, 2008 This is one of our favourites in the office... "I keel you!" We think it came from Hervé Jean-Pierre Villechaize who played the evil henchman Nick Nack in the James Bond film The Man with the Golden Gun. Okay, probably not a good log in phrase but damn funny! Its also written on Marges car in the Simpsons along with a load of other death threats in A Miracle on Evergreen Terrace. Someone had a sense of humour there, but we've no idea which character could have written it, possibly: Bumble-Bee Man or Rainier Luftwaffe Wolfcastle.
