Maybe the dead body belongs to the Stepfather (played by Terry O'Quinn) who tried to kill Watts, but Watts killed the Stepfather and decided they looked alike. The Stepfather's body makes everyone thinks Watts is dead while Watts moves off to New Zeland with his family as they all live with new identities.

Hasn't Terry O'Quinn been killed twice already on the X-Files? I'm thinking of changing my vote to "Watts is dead." :bigsmile:

Yes. Terry O'Quin was blown up in the X-Files movie, and sucked into a hillside in a quarry on "Trust No 1". He was also on an early episode as a cop.
