Hi

It looks to me I will somewhat be a bit off with what I have read so far! I am an engineer, meaning that I am better manipulating a calculator than a mind! I have been living in Quebec, Canada, for 4 years now. My interests are quite eclectic, so it is a bit hard to pick one upon another. I like watching EPL matches on tv on week end mornings, I like motor racing (never did for real however) and video games in general (simulations in particular).

Unfortunately, I am not an artist but I wish I were. I am a great admirer of the creativity a mind can produce, especially spontaneous creativity. I am no specialist of any kind, but I would say litterature is what appeals to me most. I wish I could write poems or essays, but many people are so much better and more pleasurable to read that it would be an insult to all the muses in the world.

I am not a social person, but I like people who are someone. I tend to look down on trend/fashion followers and I am always open to people who can think by themselves and can elaborate their thoughts with words (not that trivial, mind you). I guess that is why I enjoyed many of the debates that took place in this board. However, I am quite unable to start any: like I wrote before, I am better for reaction than for creation.

If I was granted a wish, I would chose to get to learn all of mankind's history. I would love to sit out of time and just watch the evolution of civilisations, of social organisations, of thought and of arts. Both past and future. That is probably because I am a bit afraid of ageing, of not living long enough to see how some things will develop, of getting a diminished ability to interact with the world.

Until such a miracle happens, I try to give to my life a less materialistic way. I have the inner feeling that, even though the nature we know is already very different from that our ancestors knew, it will not be long before it gets worse than it is now. I am afraid we are en route towards a world where trees and animals will be museum attractions, so I force myself to think with no sense of permanence. I try to benefit from whatever is left to us, before I get anything that would contibute to corrupt it one way or another.

Last thing for those who managed to keep from falling asleep: I tend to become boring. Must be the beef...

Regards

I'm 36, a writer... you may have seen a short story by me in the first issue of Brian Dixon's magazine, Revelation, titled "Future Ghosts." The story isn't my best work. It was just thrown together one afternoon.

I've written a novel (which I worked on for two years) that you can pick up at

It's about secret societies and the Holy Grail. A sequel is mostly done now, if only I can find some time to work on it.

I've also written some very mediocre poetry, such as the one in Revelation 1:2, "Prophetic Dream." Some of it can be found in another book:

But I don't recommend it, unless you actually like to sit around reading poetry. The book was put together mostly for family and friends. The novel is better.

I stay home with my kids while my wife works... though I am looking for a part-time job, so I can talk to some adults for a while.

Though I haven't been to college, I'm a bit of a Medieval history freak, particularly in regards to bizarre stuff like Pelagius, the Templars, and cups of various descriptions. :;):

I've lived in the San Francisco area, Seattle, and Denver, but currently live in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and was happy to be here the day a judge took everything away from our Aryan Nations neighbors. Nazi's are much worse than any movie has ever made them look. Like Indiana Jones, I grumble, "Nazis! I hate those guys!"

Hello,

My name is Jason Morris, I have a BA in Motion Picture and Television from the Acadamy of Art College, dosent mean much just that I didn't have the grades to go to a reall school! I'm 25, have a beautiful 6month old baby boy named Evan and will be getting married in July. Anyway film is what I love to make and watch, unfortunatly it doesnt pay the bills for me so I work as a retail manager by day and shoot projects by night. Millennium was the first real T.V. show I became really interested in, it just hit home in so many ways as to what I'm interested in and what I thought could be acomplished on T.V. (or on the big screen for that matter) with an ongoing series. I was also a singer in a industrial/rock band so I do have a lot of interests in music as well.

Welp thats about it, TIWWA has been great, its the highlight of my day to check up on the board and see whats going on, nice to meet you all!

-Jason
