Art Nesbitt convinced young couples to allow him to film their sexual activities as a substitute for encounters he never had. He later murdered the couples to capture them in what he believed would be the happiest, most perfect moment of their lives.

After eighteen years of abstaining from sex with his wife Karen, Nesbitt decided to finally try and capture their moment of passion too with a syringe of poison. Frank, Maureen Murphy, and Detective Thomas stopped Nesbitt before he could give Karen the fatal dose, but Nesbitt injected himself, taking his own life.
